Q: Why did my spiral break?

A: If you turn your machine off overnight, it’s likely that there will be un-defrosted icebergs remaining inside the slush tanks the next morning. When the machine is switched on, the spirals will simply break while rotating against solid ice blocks.

To avoid your spirals breaking, you should use night mode overnight by switching the freeze setting button to chilled mode. Allow the machine to rotate all night. They are designed to do just that. This will then slowly defrost the slush mix by turning the machine into a fridge.

When you return to your machine the next morning, the slush mix will be a chilled liquid. Put the machine back on freeze mode. Your slush mix will also freeze much quicker.
